Deployed Air National Guard Unit Member

We are trying to raise a relief fund for a Deployed National Guard Airman. We sent him home early 2 days ago after 5 months in the Middle East on his second deployment. Last week He received an email stating one of his kids had been picked up by child protective services, and the police couldnt reach his wife. We are trying to keep this as anonymous as possible, without getting into too many details. After finding out about his son, He also received a Dear John letter, found out his wife had drained both bank accounts, took the kids, and is 4 months behind on house payments. He doesn’t have a dollar to his name and wants nothing but to be with his kids. We would just like to raise enough to get him back on his feet and cover a retainer for his lawyer. I’m sure the legal battle for the children is going to be expensive, so anything more than the goal will be much appreciated. He is not aware we are doing this, and we would like to keep it that way until it is over.  

 

He is one of my best and brightest troops, and a loving father of a 5 year old girl, and 2 year old boy. He has also been one of my best friends for the last 7 years. Hes a red blooded patriot to the core. If you are Military you've most likely experienced this or seen this happen at some point.
