On Friday morning, 07/12/2019, Cesar O. Hernandez passed away in a motorcycle accident. He was on his way to work and was only three minutes away from arriving.

Cesar was only 23 years old. Although there was so much left that he wanted to do, he accomplished so much in his short 23 years of life. He was so hardworking at such a young age. He got his first job while he was still in high school at a small tire shop in Old Town La Puente. By the age of 20, Cesar was one of the youngest brokers working for SkyBlue Insurance. He was cherished, loved, and the one his co workers looked forward to seeing every morning. Cesar brightened everyones day with his greetings and contagious smile. His co workers described him as an "old soul" and a "wise man." They admired him for his growth in such a short period of time. He was mature, responsible, and trustworthy.

While his job was very important to him, his friends and family were his greatest priority. Cesar always made time for the ones he loved, leaving everybody with cherishable memories. His friends loved him for his genuine and humble spirit. He knew how to bring an immense amount of laughter to people with his wittiness. Cesar was down to earth and brought life into every room he walked into. He was the person that his friends knew they could count on. The person Cesar was left an impact on everyone he knew and for this reason leaves many people grieving.

Cesar's family is extremely heartbroken. Everything occurred too suddenly and was something they weren't ready for. There is still disbelief in the events that occurred. Their hearts still wait for their beloved Cesar to walk through the door with the smile that he always carried. His mother loved the affection he demonstrated for them, whether is was 7 pm on a Wednesday or Sunday morning Cesar would bring the family together through his announcement of "family time." It didn't need to be a special occasion for him to bring home a fresh bouquet of flowers for his mother and sisters. He was thoughtful, loving, and kind. His family knew how much he loved those around him but it amazes them to see all the people that loved him. They want to thank everybody for the love and support they have been receiving during this difficult time. We have lost a son, brother, and a friend but we will never lose an angel.
