Help Louie

Those of us who know Louie know that he's a dedicated father and ceremonial leader. Louie was t-boned in an car accident by a suburban 3 weeks ago. He narrowly escaped with his life, walking away from the accident, but his right adrenal gland was hemorrhaged.

Louie was transferred from the ER to a trauma center ICU where he spent one night to make sure his internal bleeding stopped. On the second day, he was transferred to a regular room where he spent the following night. He was released the following day.

Louie's recovering in El Paso. His physical injuries are healing very rapidly, but he's feeling a lack of drive as a result of the accident. He's looking into the possibility of a no-cost psychological evaluation to rule out PTSD.

He's applied for financial assistance regarding the hospital bills that are due for his two-day stay so we're not asking for help in that area. The accident left him without a car, and with rent that is now past due while insurance companies and lawyers sort things out.

He's done a great deal for the community and now he needs our help. We're asking for your help with a couple month's rent, plus a few extra bills (utilities, etc...).
