Please help us out!

Hi everyone if you don’t already know me I’m Eli McLaren, I am 39 years old, a husband and father of 3 awesome kids. We live in Lewistown, IL.

i was recently diagnosed with stage 4 Melanoma in my liver. I am currently unable to work. We need help with medical costs and household expenses. Please if you are able help us out. No amount is too small, anything at all helps. Thank you from the bottoms of our hearts.

Jenny and I would to share an update to answer some questions you might have.  This past Tuesday we went to Iowa City for me to have some mapping done to see if I’d be able to have a procedure called Y90.  My interventional radiologist needed to see if a major artery was supplying the blood to the tumor in my liver.  To be able to do the Y90 it needed a good blood supply.  God answered that prayer, so this Tuesday we will again travel to Iowa City for the procedure.  Technically…it is a radioembolization and is minimally invasive that combines embolilization and radiation therapy to treat my cancer in my liver.  Six weeks after the procedure they will do a new scan to see how much it worked in shrinking or killing the tumor.  We pray this procedure will do just that and relieve some of my discomfort where the tumor is pressing against things it shouldn’t.  So for the next six weeks we won’t have any new information.  I know you might how more questions and I will do my best to answer them.
