Pacific Crest Trail

Some of you know, some of you don’t...I’ve battled addiction for the last few years. And I’ve won some battles.  But I’ve lost more than I was comfortable with any longer.  I then decided I needed a challenge to take myself to “a better me”. 

So I am doing the Pacific Crest Trail. Solo for as long as I can.

And yes, I am nervous. I am excited. Most of all I am hopeful.  But I needed this. I didn’t want to simply follow a path to an early death. And I was on that path. Now I am on a new one. Super difficult yes. But I 
needed this. 

It is not easy for me to reach out for help.But I need to set aside my pride.

Any of my friends, or anyone else who has battled addiction, can donate. None of this funding is for a beach vacation. All funding will go towards emergency and foodand surviving the PCT.
