Jen’s Journey

Donation protected
My best friend, Jenny, has just begun her cancer journey in the midst of a tough year already. On July 9th, Jen was diagnosed with stage 1 DCIS Invasive Breast Cancer. Two biopsies, two MRIs, and one surgery down, she’ll go back in for a second  surgery on Tuesday, August 13th to remove more breast tissue. As soon as doctors are sure there is no more disease and is given time to heal, she’ll begin daily radiation treatment for 4 weeks.
A small business owner’s life can be rewarding, but it can also be very challenging. Medical insurance is expensive and often times the coverage that is affordable comes with very high deductibles and out-of-pocket costs.
So many of you know firsthand what an amazing mother, daughter, sister, friend, girl boss, community partner, and leader she is. Many of you have asked how you can help. Now is the time to rally around Jenny and help her fight! Any donation, no matter how big or small, helps her carry the financial burden of these unexpected medical expenses.  She is braver than anyone I know, and despite every curve ball thrown, she keeps on standing at bat, ready for the next one. We can conquer our biggest battles with the best support standing behind us! Thank you for reading this. As always, the power of prayer and positivity is real,  so please keep them coming for both Jen and her cancer team at Greater Baltimore Medical Center.
