Help Sex Workers in Latin America

The covid-19 pandemic has meant a rise in precarization for many people, among them, the situation of sex workers (both trans and cis) in Latin America has been particularly perjudicial. Many cannot work and are persecuted by the police; the absence of an income source has left many sex workers without a home and without basic resourcers for their survival or deprived of incarcerated.
As a group of sex workers and allies who live in Berlin we are fully conscious of this situation adn we want to help our siblings and colleagues from Latin America. We are in contact with collectives from Chile and Argentina which assist a great number of sex workers in in each country.
We need your support to help them through this emergency situation and these times of scarcity, uncertainty and difficulty, in which sex workers are one of the most affected sectors.

- Haciendo Calle (Mexico)

La pandemia covid-19 ha precarizado a mucha gente, entre elles, la situación de les trabajadorxs sexuales (trans y cis género) en América Latina ha sido gravemente perjudicada. Muches no pueden trabajar y son perseguidas por la policía; la falta de una fuente de ingresos ha dejado a muchas trabajadoras sexuales sin casa y sin recursos basicos para la supervivencia. Tambien hay muchas trabajadoras sexuales privadas de su libertad.
Como trabajadorxs sexuales y aliades que vivimos en Berlín somos plenamente conscientes de esta situacion y queremos ayudar a nuestres compañeres de América Latina. Estamos en contacto con colectivos en Chile y Argentina y cada uno de ellos asisten a un gran número de trabajadores sexuales a lo largo de cada país.
Necesitamos tu apoyo para ayudarles a atravesar esta situacion de emergencia en estos tiempos de escasez, incertidumbre y dificultad, en el cual les trabajadores sexuales son de los sectores más afectados.
