Need to purchase a 26' Teepee which would allow members of ACTION http://anishinabek.com and lead organizer who is from the Beausoleil First Nation to organize peaceful educational awareness campaigns, ceremonies and direct actions to protect Water/Lands/Rights in unity with the Settler Communities in Simcoe County (Alliston Aquifer, Access Rights to Tiny Beaches)

The Tipi will also be used as a space in the community of so called Beausoleil First Nation for members to reestablish their Clan Council Fire in opposition to assimilative policies and reestablishing of Traditional Governance and for ceremonies.

Johnny and ACTION members have been involved in successful peaceful campaigns to protect water in 2009 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bmVpPNwkvyo&t=137s with the Settler Community in the Fight to Stop Dump Site 41 as well as involved in cultural educational awareness camps in Awenda Provincial Park from 2012-2019 reoccupying Traditional Territory but are in need of this much needed Asset to exercise Indigenous Rights to help in said campaigns. Accountability is key and Updates, Receipts and Communications of receiving Tipi will be shown on the ACTION website and FB Page and provide any updates and can be contacted by email.
We don't usually do Go Fund Me as being as we are a Council Fire that promotes Self Sufficiency but could use some help as we are Grassroots and dedicate ourselves to work that doesn't Pay although we are working on ways to become Self Sufficient and invoke a Traditional Economy we still could use help to help us help others and land, water and rights.
