Purchase Stair Chair Lift

Hello, My name is Melissa I am fundraising to purchase a chair stair lift for my grandmother Sandra. My nana will be 78 yrs old on Oct 18th she is the matriarch of our family. In the past 2 yrs she has had a partial hip replacement and recovered from that, She had a fall and broke 4 bones and was in rehab for 2 months where her left hip and tail bone healed, her right hip which she had the partial replacement done and her pelvis on the right did not heal she had to see a special trauma surgeon in Boston and under go a 7 hour trauma surgery to put her right hip and pelvis back together which she had on done June 29th of this year she went to rehab for 1 month went back home to my mothers where she was progressing and healing normal and then a few weeks later she woke up and couldn’t walk. She Went back to the surgeon where they discovered her body is rejecting one of the screws and she needs to have another surgery. Currently she is wheelchair bound in the living room with no way to shower or get to her bedroom on the second floor. My grandmother and my mother live together they are both on a fixed income and live in low income housing. My mother has made hundreds of phone calls trying to get funding for a stair chair lift and she is told the same thing every time “they have no funding for the elderly” I’m asking anyone who can help to donate what you can so we can try and get my grandmother a stair chair lift so she is able to take a normal shower and be able to sleep in her own room again she hasn’t been upstairs in over 8 months.
