Pumpkin's Treatment for Cystitis

Hello! My name is Ashley, and I am fundraising for Pumpkin's upcoming treatment for recurring interstitial Cystitis on May 3rd 2024.

This is a fairly new treatment discovered last year by the state college of North Carolina Veterinary Medicine.

Pumpkin, 4 year old male domestic shorthair, has suffered most of his life with Cystitis, with over 10 vet visits for flare up episodes; urinating blood from inflammation due to stress. After countless medications, a daily anxiety medicine, and prescription food for life, there was never a cure. Until 2023. The small study of cats that had the low dose radiation treatment had successfull results of never having inflammation again!

Pumpkin will be the first cat at this Blue Pearl vet facility in southeastern Pennsylvania to undergo the radiation treatment on his bladder.
