Pumpkin Needs Surgery

Pumpkin is my wonder dog. I adopted her when she was three months old and she’s been the sweetest and smartest animal ever since. She is the love of my life.
In all of her nine years she has never had to go to a vet for any kind of illness…until now. A couple of weeks ago I noticed a small round lesion on one side of her belly. I immediately went to the vet and they did some scrapings to be tested. The results were not conclusive with the amount of scrapes, but since then a pinkish ring has developed around the lesion and the vet thinks it’s a mast cell tumor and we need to remove it.
It couldn’t be a worse time, since my income has plummeted this year due to my long bout with the flu and other setbacks.
The funds raised here will be 100% used for Pumpkin’s surgery and follow-ups, minus the GoFundMe reasonable service charge. If this campaign exceeds the goal, additional donations will be put in a savings account for Pumpkin.
It’s very difficult for me to ask people for help without giving something in return. All I can do is promise to pay it forward as my current situation is resolved.
Pumpkin has met hundreds (maybe thousands) of people and always makes everyone happy. If you haven’t met her, I hope you will.
