Pulp Writer Needs Your Help

My beloved wife Becky of thirty years was diagnosed with cancer in January of 2019, and went through a few grueling rounds of chemo, but despite some scattered points of hope here and there she was informed by her doctor on Thursday, July 11th that she is critically ill and should seek hospice. Becky opted for in-house care because she dearly wants to be in her own home with me for whatever time she has left.

After consulting with her family I realized I needed several weeks to get my legs under me and figure out how this all works to care for her the very best way I can at home. Part of that involves the very hard decision to take a leave of absence from my day job, which is, of course, unpaid. Finances are currently low, and therein lies my dilemma. This is of immediate need.

I am seeking your help in raising enough funds to cover what I’d normally make over a few weeks of work so as to be able to be away from my job and with Becky 24/7. For anyone who knows me, they’ll tell you the asking doesn’t come easy. Our thirty years together haven’t always been easy and we’ve hit some pretty low points, but I’ve always managed to provide for us and get us through.
