Pugel family in Boise hit hard by Covid, 2 in ICU

Yesterday, 2/21/2021, my dear friend, Shawn Pugel called for Prayer Warriors everywhere, and prayers are pouring in from all around the world to lift the Pugel family and surround them with strength and healing as they fight COVID. Today, 2 family members are being treated in ICU of two different hospitals, 620 miles apart. 12 of 15 members have fallen ill. Please see her post below, copied from FaceBook. Keep your prayers and encouragement coming for this precious, tight-knit and devoted family.
So many people, friends and strangers alike, are asking for ways to help and so, with permission from this special family, I am setting up this effort to help the Pugel’s cover mounting medical expenses and related costs.
Shawn, has flown to Seattle to be by her son Christopher’s side, where he was medically transferred by air to the ICU of a specialized cardiac care center at UW. He has been in the hospital for 16 days with Shawn by his side. Everyone who knows the Pugel’s knows that Christopher is a fighter, overcoming tremendous health challenges since birth that leave his immune system compromised.
In case you don’t already know Christopher, he would want you to know that he is the San Francisco 49ers #1 fan and he loves to write songs, play his guitar and to sing. He wants to appear on The Voice!, and can’t figure out why his family won’t take him to the auditions. Check him out on YouTube: Christopher Pugel YouTube
He loves music so much that, “WHEN”, not if, he wins Albertson’s Monopoly, he will buy a warehouse for his marching band to practice in. And yes, he WILL have a marching band.
More than anything, Christopher (or Nunu) loves his family, and they love him.
In the meantime, Shawn’s devoted husband and father of their 8 children, Tony, is also in the ICU being treated for complications from COVID in Boise. He is fighting hard to improve so he can return home and support his family.
All funds raised will be used to help the Pugel family get through this difficult time of mounting medical expenses and other unforeseen costs. Please consider making a donation. Any amount helps.

Many of you know that our whole family except two people (who were vaccinated) tested positive for COVID. This virus has rocked our world and has been a roller coaster of an experience.
All of my posts have been about Christopher who is still in the ICU in Seattle fighting for his life, but my husband Tony has been in the hospital in Boise since Monday with COVID complications.
We just heard news today that he is being transferred to the ICU because his oxygen needs have increased. They are doing this as a precaution and want to have the most resources available to him.
Thank you. Thank you for standing faithfully with us during this time. We know all of you have been praying over us and speaking words of encouragement and support into us. We truly couldn’t do this without you.
