Temporary housing for Lanta

Here's the situation: Lanta was denied a lease renewal at their Section 8 apartment and had to be out by March 31. I (Lauren) thought that I'd found them a place but it was a scam. Since then, Lanta has been staying with us.
At the beginning of May, my spouse and I were informed that we would need to move out of state by the middle of June, so Lanta is once again in need of temporary housing.
Lanta and a mutual friend, Lia, are working towards moving out of state, since we are all located in Texas and it's not the safest time to be disabled, queer, Jewish, or Muslim with our state officials making things as difficult as possible. But finding affordable housing for them is going to take time.
I have priced an extended stay motel here in Austin for Lanta. The cost is $7, 541.84 for three months, though this does not include fees such as pet fees and internet. I have rounded upto $8,000.00 for this purpose.
