Over the last five years Park Slope United has grown from a handful of five and six years olds falling all over the gym floor to the top soccer club in Brooklyn with over 500 players. We’ve grown by staying true to our values of community, integrity, and excellence and by developing young people of character, as well as great soccer players.
We believe that for our mission of development through community to be fulfilled, we need a home where kids, parents, and coaches all feel safe, inspired and proud to spend time together.
Even before finishing renovations, the PSU Clubhouse is already a vibrant community center. Once renovations are complete we’ll have a top of the line turf field, wall padding, a floor to ceiling mural of the park, a café for parents, and even a soccer store! We’re excited to host kids soccer classes and camps, adult pickup soccer and fitness classes, birthday parties and World Cup viewing parties.
As you can imagine, building this unique gathering space is a big financial undertaking for our club, and puts a short-term strain on our budget. Your donations go towards completing the project with the highest quality, while allowing us to meet our financial commitments this spring.
I look forward to many fun and memorable times together at the PSU Clubhouse over the next few decades.
