Providing water for 20,000+ people

Drink4Life aims to support water-deprived communities in Ghana by developing mechanized water wells for 20,000+ people across 6 regions. Currently, the only water source in these communities is a heavily contaminated river. The lack of access to clean water affects all aspects of the residents’ livelihoods: Children often suffer from potentially lethal diarrhea; women spend all day traveling back and forth to fetch water, inhibiting them from partaking in economic generating activities, in turn continuing the perpetual cycle of poverty.
