Providing for Sang's Daughters

On October 26th, our close friend Sang tragically lost her life at the hands of her estranged husband. She leaves behind her two daughters.

Three months ago, she found the courage to leave her emotionally abusive relationship, we got her to safety, and we all celebrated.

The last three months have been the happiest we have ever seen her and her daughters. She found a wonderful man who was so friendly, caring, and full of life. Her daughters were full of smiles and joy. That is how we are going to remember her.

Her daughters are now left without a mother. And she was the best mother. She gave every part of herself to them and it shows. They are kind, compassionate, and so smart.

They are staying with an incredible family in Faro and are surrounded by a loving community. Their needs are being provided for by this family along with Family and Children's Services. But we want to ensure that the dreams their mother had for them can be fulfilled. University, travel, a first car.... They have experienced more than enough trauma in their young lives, and if we can all help them get through their future with minimal barriers it would be amazing.

We know everyone wants to help and now we can all finally do something. Thank you all for the love you have for Sang and her daughters.

All donations will be placed in bank accounts that have been set up for her daughters.

We love you and miss you so much Sang. Your girls will be so loved and so cared for by this community and beyond.
