Providing a Miracle for Chloe

We are raising money to pay for the standing operation parts of a powerchair for Chloe. Chloe has been working hard to stand on her own and taking steps almost every day and in order to get her muscles and progress to the next level, she needs a powerchair that will allow her to stand whenever she needs or wants to. Unfortunately, the Government of Ontario and our insurance companies have deemed standing as "not medically necessary" despite the many studies that support the action of standing as an important daily action.
Not only will this new chair help her develop more muscle in her core and legs, it will support her mentally in the way that it will give her more independence in her daily life. Currently, she depends on others to transfer into a separate stander, but the powerchair would allow her to independently get to standing through the use of power controls. At the tender age of 7, standing at her own will during the day means standing for O Canada with her peers, standing and spinning during ballet class, helping with the dishes at home or going to pick apples with her little brother.
The cost of the chair has been estimated at $47,000.00. We are hoping that ADP will cover some of the base components of the chair for her and it would be roughly $25,000 for the standing components of her chair. As Chloe will be the first child to have one of these chairs built for her, the exact cost is not known.
Chloe's development means everything to her family and we all want to help her by getting her this piece of equipment. Your help will make a life-changing difference in her daily life, and for her entire family.
In 2016, we at The Signature Sold Team (Royal Lepage Locations North) donated over $10,000 towards supporting Chloe and possible treatment to help her progress. We are committed to helping Chloe and would appreciate any and all help to make this happen.
