Provide Tents for Schools for Children in Haiti

Want to join me in making a difference? I'm raising money to help children affected by the earthquake in Haiti have the opportunity to attend school, and any donation will help make an impact. Education is a driving force in any country, and is especially important in a developing country. Education gives children the knowledge and skills they need to help themselves out of poverty and into prosperity. Education gives hope and helps build self-reliance. The 7.2 magnitude earthquake - the largest ever recorded on Haiti - which struck Haiti on Saturday, August 14 at approximately 8:30 a.m., wiped out the possibility of going to school for thousands of children in Haiti. The earthquake completely destroyed 173 schools and significantly damaged 270 additional schools. Please help me raise money to send large commercial tents to the Saint-Michel de Charpentier School in Les Cayes, Haiti, so that 750 students can start school as soon as possible. All funds I raise will be donated to Flying High for Haiti to purchase the tents, ship them to Haiti, and oversee the setup. I have been volunteering with Flying High for Haiti for five years and have previously traveled to Haiti with the organization. The tents cost $1,259 each, plus shipping costs. Please help me raise $5,500 to send four tents to Haiti and help the children in Haiti access education and experience some normalcy in their lives.
