Send Support to Josie and her Family

Hi, we are Melissa Starrett Landera and Diane Murray, and we are coworkers and friends of Josie Miguel. Josie has been a teacher at Elysian Charter School for 25 years, and has influenced countless children and families as a caring and thoughtful teacher.

Last Friday, Josie's husband, Carlos, passed away unexpectedly. Carlos was a devoted husband and loving father of five children.

The family is requesting privacy at this time. Still, we know that many people care for Josie and her family and would like to help her cover the funeral and burial costs, as well as the other financial hardships that will arise after such a sudden and heartbreaking loss.
