Provide School uniforms for 500 children

Tax deductible
Halesowen Audi and Partners are looking to raise £3000 to fund the School Uniforms for 500 children at two schools below.

Please donate what you can as we work through this amazing project

The Peace School and Okalawo Children’s Village School prepare and empower children for a brighter future. The children receive
a free, quality Montessori-style education, daily balanced meal, and social and spiritual development. We invite you to be part of
this journey by helping us to raise funds to provide school uniforms, school stationery and medical supplies for 500 children for
the 2025 school year starting in February.

Organisation Background

Life Child exist to reach orphan and vulnerable children and restore communities for generational change; One life at a time.

For 20 years we have been serving communities throughout South Africa, Mozambique, Malawi, and Zimbabwe. The model of
Life Child is holistic with support being designed with the strengths and needs of each, unique community in mind. In each
community, Life Child is impacting children, families, communities, and nations creating sustainability by building firm foundations
in our four focus areas: Education, Health, and Nutrition, Social and Spiritual Development.

Okalawo Children’s Village School

Children: 11 Residential and 93 Non-Residential
Grade: Grades 1-4

The Okalawo Children’s village, in Gogone, Zambezia region of Mozambique was born out of the tremendous need to extend our
existing work with orphan and vulnerable children, to strengthen their families and others in the community and provide
education for children. The area is significantly impacted by high mortality rates related to viruses and diseases such as HIV/AIDS
and malaria, which cause an increase in the trafficking of vulnerable children.
The Okalawo Children’s Village is a community within the community, where vulnerable and/ or orphaned children are placed into
new families where they receive long term care in every aspect of their lives.
We currently educate 104 children from Grade 1 through to Grade 4. Most students live with caregivers in the larger Gogone
Community, though our eligible residential students attend the school as well for these grades. The village clinic serves as a hub
for training for all our children and their families in the surrounding communities.
The completion of our first cluster homes will allow us to care for 48 orphaned and/or vulnerable children together with six house
mothers. The village clinic is in operation and is serving all our children and their families in the surrounding communities.
Peace School

Children: 396 Non-Residential
Grade: Grades 1-6
The Peace School has a holistic approach to education and each child also receives a nutritious meal on a daily basis.
We currently educate 440 children from Grade 1 to Grade 6. The school also offers skills training in agriculture and animal care as
part of the curriculum, in order to broaden the students’ opportunities for future income generation, for themselves and their
families.
Public and school health care is very important as we invest into the overall wellbeing of each child, family and the greater
community.
