Prosthetic leg for Lt. Dan

Tax deductible
Will you please join us in a good cause? Would you like to see a goat with a fake leg? We do!  You Rescued Me Animal Sanctuary rescued a Spotted Buck Nubian goat with only 3 1/2 legs.  Lt. Dan came to us 50lbs underweight. His hooves had never been trimmed and were about 6 inches too long. He has a horn that is growing into his head and has a coat that shows malnourishment and no tlc.  He was able to see a vet for an initial exam and had his hooves trimmed.  He was such a good boy and allowed his "nub" as we call it, to be examined. The vet believes that he may have been born this way. His rear body is completely distorted due to his short leg and is causing him pain.  He will only take a few steps a day. After his exam we reached out to A Loyal Companion and he is a perfect candidate for prostethic leg.  We would love to raise money to give Lt. Dan a better and more comfortable life.  We have a rough estimate on a new leg for Dan and we are asking for help. Please help us and Lt. Dan. Lt. Dan is 1 of our 60 animals that we care for on a daily basis and we appreciate all the support we can get. Thank you for taking your time and reading Lt. Dan's story.
