Prosthetic for Kori McIntyre
Donation protected
We are coming to the community to ask for your help in raising the money for a prosthetic leg for the strongest woman we know.
A few weeks ago Kori started experiencing some issues with her leg. A couple of ER visits and instacare visits later she found herself in the ICU and has remained in the hospital for the last two weeks battling some blood clots and aneurysms. Unfortunately the doctors were unable to save her leg and she has endured an amputation just below the knee.
Obviously this is devastating news for Kori.
Still in the grieving process with the loss of their sweet 17 year old son Carson just 5 months ago, this family needs our help. Kori does not have insurance and they are not only still paying for medical bills from Carsons passing, now medical bills for Kori and the huge expense of getting a prosthetic.
Kori has an amazing spirit and will navigate this trial like she has so many others in her life. Taking some of the financial burdens off of her will help her save her energy for her healing.
Thank you from from the bottom of our hearts for your help. Anything you can give us is much appreciated. You can also help by just sharing this post.
Please feel free to contact us with any questions
Much love,
Debby Miller
Amie Thompson
We are humbled by the support and outpouring of love for Kori. Please keep sharing this page so that we can ensure Kori gets the best prosthetic out there. The money will also go towards insurmountable medical debt that is still accruing and will continue to build as Kori gets the care she needs.
We want everyone to be assured that every cent donated will go to Kori. As a layer of protection for donors, Go fund me has asked us to explain where the money will be allocated.
As Kori is still in the hospital and it will be awhile before she is able to pay medical bills or go to the bank to make withdrawals on her own we have it set up for Go-fund me to directly deposit the money into a bank account at Zion’s First National bank. From there it will be managed by her two best friends (Debby Miller and Amie Thompson) who have set up an additional account for Kori’s donations. This way we will be able to manage it for her under her direction. This account will allow us to write checks directly from this account for her medical needs and bills on her behalf.
If you have any questions about the allocation of funds please do not hesitate to ask.
