Project Duniya

Hello, my name is Riya Patel. I am a junior in high school from St.Augustine, Florida.  I created Project Duniya as an  opportunity to make a difference within my community. I am grateful that I will be able to take my project to a global level and help those all around the world. My first project begins in India at local school near Bardoli, Gujrat the Universal Welfare Trust of India.  Many students  do not have the basic necessities in order to recieve an exceptional education such as classroom and dorm supplies. Universal Welfare Trust of India is a school dedicated to children with disabilities. The Universal Welfare Trust of India's student population is composed of the very hard working-intelligent individuals with bright futures ahead of them. It is my mission to raise money and purchase the supplies they need in order to recieve an outstanding education. In December 2017 I will be traveling to India to deliver their supplies as well as spend the day with the students to help them set up their bedrooms and classrooms.
