Funding to support Dependent Youth aging out of the foster care system
21st century has witnessed the rise and success of countless women across different roles in all parts of the world. Today, everyone who ever doubted the power of a women knows that women have what it takes to change the world. All that is needed to enable them is the correct support system. Recognizing the need to help women share, learn, and grow together Opulent Boss Beauties, a non-profit organization was founded by a woman who share the same passion to support other women out there.
As a part of this organization, we have worked on several initiatives to help put young women and children in homes and support them with crucial resources to assist them in pursuing their goals. The latest initiative that we have been working on as a part of Opulent Boss Beauties is Project Opulent. This project is aimed at providing supporting services and transitional housing to non minor dependent youth that are close to leaving the care of the foster care system. Targeted towards 18 to 21 years old THP-NMD (Transitional Housing Placement Non-Minor Dependent youth), this initiative will be a way to help these young adults transition into a safe atmosphere as they move out of the foster care system. They will also be taught the skills needed to live a life of independence and responsibility so that they can be productive members of the community.
We are here to ask for your donations to help us raise enough funds to execute Project Opulent. All your donations will be used to build the project services that will include employment counseling, parenting courses, Highschool graduation achievement, college enrollment tools and other miscellaneous resources needed to support the youth. Your donations are crucial in getting this project off the ground and help it become the success we have envisioned for it.
