Want to join me in making a difference in the lives of children through the art of dance?
We are raising money and seeking sponsors to support the Bahamas Relief Cruise Inc, a 501C(3) Non Profit organization. Through this organization, we will be bringing back dance to children in the hard-hit community of Freeport Bahamas.
To kick off the event, a volunteer dance group will be traveling to the Grand Bahama Island of Freeport on July 16th-18th, 2021 to dance alongside Bahamian dancers at Bahamas Dance Theatre. We will be bringing along the well-known Artists, Choreographers, and professional dancers from the "Project LA" Dance Group. Because this group has a large following, we anticipate a media release in the Bahamas as well as U.S. news outlets during their stay.
I am reaching out to find individuals and businesses that may want to help support this important effort through your tax-deductible contributions.
About the Event On July 16th -18th, 2021:
Our team of volunteers will be in the Bahamian Island communities to spread hope and friendship to the young Bahamian children through dance. We aim to make a positive difference in the lives of the children in Freeport Bahamas who have endured much hardship as a result of the Covid-19 quarantine and the prior devastating hurricane Dorian which caused extensive damage to their community including the loss of loved ones as well as homes.
The volunteers and dancers are already conducting multiple fundraising efforts to teach dance routines and donate necessary dancewear to the children in the community of Freeport Bahamas. Our goal is to raise $15,000 to go to the Bahamas Dance Theater to help rebuild the dance studio from damage caused by hurricane Dorian of 2019.
How Can You Help
There are many ways to get involved:
· Making a monetary donation to the GoFundMe to help the Bahamian dancers dance again!
· Send in school supplies, toys, and non-perishable canned goods to 51 Glades Road, Boca Raton FL, 33432.
· Donate any items that can be auctioned off to raise money or provide to the Bahamian students as prizes for their participation during the event in July.
