Project Flour and Oil

Hello Everyone and thank you for visiting this page.

 

My name is Otoniel Araica, and at this time I'm raising funds in honor of my late brother Luis Araica for a project he started called "Harina y Aceite" (translates to Flour & Oil.)

 

It focused on the Island of the Widows in Chichigalpa of the department of Chinandega in Nicaragua that has a high prevalence of Chronic Kidney Disease (CKDu) of unknown cause among young adult men. It is currently killing thousands of sugar cane workers leaving many women and children to fend for themselves.

 

This project was created to build a school in that region to educate many of the orphaned children and to inspire them to lead successful lives. The proceeds would also help gather the resources necessary to equip the school which will also employ and assist some of the widows and dwellers of the village.

 

All proceeds will go to the coordinators of the project that reside in Nicaragua with whom our family is in contact.

 

If you would like to donate & contribute and to the work that my late brother could not continue because of his brain cancer, regardless of the amount, you will have an impact on someone's life.
