Professor Brain's Medical Fund
Donation protected
Professor Brain was diagnosed with diabetes on May 29th. At that point, he hasn't eaten or drank anything in two days without vomiting it up. We've been told he has a blood sugar level of 520, when the healthy range is 100-150.
We took him to the only vetinarian clinic open on Memorial Day, which also happened to be the most expensive one. To do anything at all for him, they were going to charge us $4,500 (Which included blood tests, staying in the clinic for 2-3 days, IV work, an ultrasound, and insulin tests).
That is money I simply don't have. I have loved Professor with all of my heart for fourteen years, as so many of you have. I hate asking for charity, but I have to. This is a very immediate and very real fight for his life. If Professor has ever made you fawn over his cuteness, made you laugh at his silly tongue, or made you feel special for the enthusiam he showed when you entered a room, please help him in his time of need. I'm not ready for our adventures to end yet.
I can't promise big prizes for everyone who donates, but for anyone who can help me now, I will provide updates, pictures, and personal thank you's from the bottom of my heart. I'm taking him to an out of town clinic May 30th, and hope to get a more affordable rate. As soon as possible, my little guy needs your help. Thank you so very much.
