Product Design Class of 2021 Senior Show

If you're looking to donate to the 2021 Drexel Product Design Senior Show, you've come to the right place.

It goes without saying that this past year has been a bit different, which means closing out our time at Drexel has required some adaptations from past years. Lucky for us, adaptation is at the heart of what we do as designers.

Our graduating class is 24 strong, and each of us has been working diligently on our senior projects for the past nine months. We take a lot of pride in our diversity of skillsets, passions, and contributions, so we spent a lot of time deciding how to best represent every project in the final exhibition while adhering to safety protocols. It's our pleasure to be able to provide our friends, families, and supporters with both virtual and in-person showcases for the class of '21.

Our theme is Time, and our projects run the spatiotemporal gamut, from the physical world to digital experiences to philosophical manifestations. We're excited to let you delve further into the work through our website showcase and our live exhibition this June 8-13. We're raising funds to make the show the best it can be, and we'd love to fill you in a bit on what we have planned:

     -Our Exhibition and Experience Team (made up of the best craftspeople in the class) is building the displays from scratch, and curating an exhibit that immerses its viewers in the theme and our work. Material and hardware costs total to around $800.

     -Our Virtual Show Team (an incredibly talented and thoughtful group of designers) is creating a website that will be beautiful, interactive, and accessible to everyone from the comfort of their own computers. The development platform, digital assets, and domain rights will be about $500.

     -Our Branding Team (a highly innovative and organized bunch) is developing the graphic design language that will be used throughout every aspect of the show, as well as the official showcase publication detailing each of our projects. Material and printing costs are estimated to be $850.

The class of '21 is looking to raise $2100 to cover the essential costs listed above, and excess funds will be used to cover day-of setup expenses or handed off to the class of '22 .
