Juliette Fairley's An American Can of Worms

I'm fundraising to produce a film called An American Can of Worms about what happens to a black descendant of an American Revolutionary War hero who tries to join an elite genealogy society.

An American Can of Worms is the second episode in a series.

The pilot episode Adult Children of the American Revolution premiered at the 2023 Big Apple Film Festival on Nov. 9 to rave reviews from Film Inquiry and the New York Daily News.

This segment exposes the barriers to membership of elite genealogy organizations, such as the fictional Adult Children of the American Revolution, that exclude many black Americans who only have DNA to show for their lineage.
