Private School Payoff

Donation protected
In 2016/2017 school year, Justus was asked to attend a local private school and join their basketball team. Within the first year alone, Justus received many honors from the teachers and staff including an honorable mention for being the most inspirational student within the entire school. Justus was known on the field and in the classroom as one that would always lift someone up if needed. Justus received a scholarship and donations from community members that paid a portion of his tuition as well as payments made by his mother and step father. In 2017/2018, he was asked to come back in the fall and play another year. His parents were thankful and Justus was excited to attend as well, as he has made many friends and enjoyed the school very much. A scholarship was given and donors and his parents flipped the bill. In 2018/2019 Justus’ family moved to Lusby. Justus’ was still able to attend the private school, but decided that his passion for football since the age of 8 was his ticket to college and his ticket to his future. This school did not offer football as a sport so and he was then enrolled at a public High School. The school then requested his high school transcript and this is when the problem arose. Report cards were given as well as an unofficial transcript. His mother had a meeting with the principal at this time and was told that a few of the donations did not come through. This put his parents in a bad spot as this was quite a bit of money from a few years prior. This also stopped Justus from graduating in 2020 as he was seen as a Junior. In the summer of 2020, Justus received multiple college offers and has finally decided on his future college home after his graduation in 2021. With that being said, signing can not take place until an official transcript is in hand. Justus has applied for his NCAA eligibility in order to play Division 1 football and we now need your help. Justus is a talented young athlete with not only love for football but also love for others. Justus has given so much inspiration to others and we are reaching out to the community to see if we can all inspire him and show him that anything is possible and not to give up on his dream. As a community what can we do to help guide this young man and help him gain his NCAA eligibility as well as help him begin his future away at college. As a family of 7 and with COVID stopping the children from attending school, this has now brought on higher utility and food costs for the family. Justus parents have both picked up 2nd and 3rd jobs and have made payments on this debt but with this time crunch of eligibility we all worry about the timeline and would like this taken care of sooner than later. Without this debt being paid, Justus official transcripts will not be released from the school which will stop him from graduating and receiving his diploma as well as stop his future in college and on the football field. No amount is too big or too small. Anything would help this young man get where he needs to be!! We thank you all in advance
