Private physio for Ellen

Hello there,

As some of you may know, our best friend Ellen Stickle was involved in a very serious car accident back in March this year.

Unfortunately this has left Ellen with life changing injuries. She is currently recovering well in Glasgow in the amazing hands of a specialist spinal unit.

Ellen has always been very much into her running, someone who is naturally born to run completing marathons in amazing timings. She’s a joy to be around and so determined at everything she puts her mind too!

We are hoping that Ellen will be home (Aberdeen) in Winter this year where she would love to continue with receiving top quality physio to support her with her injuries. As part of this, myself, Annie, Ellie and Emily are going to be running the Manchester Half Marathon on Sunday 10 October to raise some money for private physio for her. Anyone who knows us knows this will be a real challenge but if Ellen can come through what she has, then we can do this for her!

In addition to this the lovely Tracey Thom isgoing to be running the Great North Run on Sunday 12 September to support and raise further fund for Ellen’s recovery!

Cara's friend Bekah is going ALL OUT in October and running THREE marathons! She is doing London, Manchester and Liverpool one each weekend over 3 weeks she's a super keen runner who doesn't normally ask for sponsors from anyone and just does it for the love of it, so we are so grateful that she is doing this crazy challenge and trying to help Ellen's cause ❤️
