Priscilla's Cancer Treatment Fund

About a month ago my Mom started choking in the middle of the airport because she couldn't swallow her food or water, when she returned home from visiting her brothers and sisters she made an appointment with her doctor and had an endoscopy done. Unfortuanetly they found that she has a large tumor right at the end of her esophagus and at the top of her stomach. The following week my Mom went to go get a cat scan and have multiple tests done in San Diego to see how aggressive the cancer is. When the results came back it wasnt what we wanted to hear, the doctor staged my Moms cancer at stage four due to multiple tumors and the spread of it onto other organs. Her doctors told her at this point that chemo would be the only option for her to slow down the growth of her tumors, with no further plans as to surgery or radiation. At this point what the doctors were saying didnt seem promising to us so my Mom decided to go get a second opinion at the Cancer Treatment Center of America before she made any decisions. Fortunately the doctors there have more hope for my mom and got her started right away with her chemo therapy treatments and with a plan to do surgery to try and remove the tumor in her stomach. My Mom is now on her third round of chemo therapy and so far she is hanging in there and doing all she can mentally and physically to stay positive and fight this battle. Financially this has been a burden on our family since my Mom has to travel every two weeks to Phoenix, Arizona for four days to get her chemo done. Any donations made would be a BIG BLESSING in helping out my family for medical costs, hotel stay, food, and gas. I just want to say a thank you to our family and friends and even to the people who dont know us for all of your prayers and your positve thoughts sent to my family, because of all your prayers my family is gaining the strength to be able to get through this tough season we are facing.
