Priscilla needs our help

On Tuesday July 21st Priscilla got a bottle of baclafen medication, ingested it, and was battling for her life. After a couple of hours at the local vets, she was rushed to the emergency vet in Brewer where they had the lipid infusions that she desperately needed. Her mom stayed in a hotel nearby in case things went south. Unfortunately the only place that had the rest of the equipment she needed and could offer 24 hour care for her was 3 hours away in  Portland. She was rushed there the next morning and taken in immediately for continued care. Anyone who has taken a pet to a vet before can imagine how expensive that’s going to end up being. Her family would greatly appreciate ANY help you could offer. This amount will guarantee any immediate bills that can’t be paid out of pocket currently will be covered and if we happened to pass this amount we promise to donate it to an emergency pet clinic. We’d hope to be able to help get more emergency medical equipment within a reasonable distance to most of the state. This is a issue most aren’t aware of until there in an emergency  and their fur baby is already in desperate need of the equipment that turns out to be hours away from them. Again we thank anyone for any help that you can offer weather it’s money or just positive energy and prayer, we need it all.

UPDATE from mom JULY 23rd-
Priss has defied all odds and has come home with us today. Healthy. She is the strongest person I have ever met, I cannot describe to you what she went through it was absolutely horrific and traumatic. 
Two nights ago she had almost NO chance of surviving. The vets originally estimated a 6 to 7 day stay costing 8 to 10k. We have been blessed to have her come home healthy after only a couple days of emergency care. So we can breathe a sigh of relief on cost.

As a lot of you know she also had knee surgery a couple months ago during the covid shutdown,  which wiped out the remainder of my savings at the time. And now after working only about a month this unexpected expense is weighing heavy on us. Absolutely any help is so greatly appreciated. Thank you.
