The Passing of beloved Princess Medina

Donation protected
One of the most surreal feelings in this world is losing a person you never knew,
while this is the case for us having never actually met Medina;
for Ahmed and Cassandra it was different, they knew, loved and felt this baby.
After 9 long months of waiting, preparing and experiencing the progressive growth of their Angel Medina, they unfortunately were faced with the worst possible outcome.

Our hearts and prayers go out to you as you grief and we all stand by your side during this traumatic time.
It takes a village to raise a child and it takes the same to say goodbye, may you rest in love Princess Medina.

~A description of the occurrence is written down below coming from the Father himself, this may be a sensitive read for some.~

We got an ambulance because cas had a really bad fever, and severe back pain .
The ambulance took us to the emergency room where they confirmed she had started early labour, due to her fever (which is a classic tell that the baby is unwell) they had to give her a covid test.
This took what felt like forever.
Meanwhile her contractions were only intensifying and occurring a lot more frequently.
The midwives and doctors were taking their time.
Upon checking Medina’s heart beat
it came into realisation that her heart was rapidly fluctuating and was not at all stable.
This caused concern for obvious reasons and the doctors and midwives were all aware of the severity of this situation however, due to the wait for the COVID test result
all they could do was to get cas to change positions in hopes that Medinas heart rate would begin to regulate at a healthy pace.
When really they should have rushed her in immediately to get a C section.

This whole "covid" bullshit went on for over an hour, at this point her waters had broken, and Medina had already had bowel movements inside the uterus. (Another well known sign that the baby is unwell and in danger).
The doctors still showed little sign of urgency.
Us not having any experience with child birth, trusted their judgement, even though it felt like something was not right.

Once they finally got the covid result back (negative) she was rushed in to get the c section she should have had an hour ago.

The doctors who delivered the baby displayed an array of unprofessional procedures, including trouble holding and supporting Cassandras body whilst trying to inject the epidural.
Medina was eventually removed from the uterus, but she came out with no heart beat.
The doctors then proceeded to do CPR.
After 10 to 15 minutes they got her heart to beat.
But sadly it was too late, due do multiple delays aswell as another mishap during the pregnancy where a doctor forgot to book us in for an induction which was meant to happen on Monday.
Our baby girl had little to no oxygen in her blood.
She was pronounced brain dead shortly after being delivered, and then passed away shortly after that.
We have been preparing and looking forward to bringing our beautiful daughter home for nine months now, only to be met with grief and financial strain.
Any contribution will go a long way in helping cover funeral costs.

God bless any one and everyone who is about to have a child.
Please make sure you keep an eye out for these mistakes and negligence from your doctor's, nurses and midwives and most importantly trust your instincts. It could cost you your child's life.
