Prince needs an operation.

As the hunting season closes, Prince is no longer of any use. At some point Prince had been shot with a rifle and still has a metal pellet lodged in his rear. Apart from his undesirable history he was also hit by a car and sustained injury to his back right leg. 

He has been with me for a couple of weeks and although we thought he was recovering, after numerous X-rays and visits to the vet its confirmed he has a fracture and torn ligaments. The surgery consists of fitting a metal plate into the lower part of his back right leg in order to stabilise it, this will give him the best chance to a normal pain free life. We would love for Prince to be as good as can be, mentally and physically before we start finding him a family of his own. 

All funds will go directly to the cost of his surgery and we'll be sure to keep you updated on his progress.
