You can make a difference by donating today to help preserve hallowed ground that was fought over during the Petersburg Campaign of the American Civil War.
The Petersburg Battlefields Foundation (PBF) has the opportunity to help preserve vital battlefield lands tied to the “Fight for the Weldon Railroad” which are in danger of being developed. We need your help in this important endeavor.
The two tracts of land hold major significance to two separate battles; The Battle of Jerusalem Plank Road, June 21 – 24, 1864, and The Battle for the Weldon Railroad, August 18 – 21, 1864.
These important tracts of hallowed ground must be preserved in perpetuity. You can help us raise the funds needed to preserve these properties (and potentially other battlefield lands) for future generations by donating today, and any amount - $50, $100 $1000 - will help.
