Pregnant with twins and stage 3 lymphoma

My name is Sarah Johnson I’m 31 years old and I’m currently 35 weeks pregnant with twin girls Eliana and Katherine. I’m a mom to 5 other kids an 11 year old, 8 year old, 7 year old, 2 year old and a 1 year old. I found out I was pregnant with twin girls around December 2022. My pregnancy has been complicated from the get go. I’ve had low blood count, Severe anemia, losing weight, and constantly sick. I went into maternal fetal medicine in July of 2023 to find out the twins are growth restricted and aren’t gaining the weight that they should be and one of the girls aren’t getting enough blood into their umbilical cord. Around July 2023 I went in for a routine Ob/Gyn appointment to get blood work done and etc. My blood work came back that I would iron infusions before I could have the babies. This was at 33 weeks of my pregnancy. I finally got into see a hematologist they reviewed blood work of a cbc panel I found out I have blood cancer which is non-hodgkins lymphoma. The dr recommend I’d get a CT scan to see if it has affected any of my organs. I went in for a CT scan last Friday and I got the results back from the CT scan that I was absolutely dreading on Monday of this week that it was in my spleen and liver. Which is considered Stage 3 blood cancer. It is definitely a lot to deal with while being pregnant with twin girls who are absolutely taking every ounce of energy I have in me. I opted that I will not start chemotherapy or radiation until after the birth of my twin girls. I am currently on Medicaid and Medicaid will only cover some of the cost of iron infusions and chemo in order to have a C-section or natural delivery I have to have these done. The part that I have to pay is $400. This will go directly to the Drs office that I will be getting my treatments at.
