Praying for little Bentley Blythe:)

Donation protected
6/15/2018: Bentley went to heaven this morning. He was laying in bed with us as he took his last breath.

I have no words right now except we are broken. I'm mad, sad, and confused.

Thank you all for the prayers.

Latest Update: we brought Bentley home yesterday. The change in his mood was remarkable! He smiled when we pulled in the drive way and hasn’t cried or been upset. We are so thankful for that. He’s very comfortable here.
Last night he didn’t sleep so well. He’s puking a good bit and can’t eat or drink. I wish I knew how to get him to eat and drink without him getting sick. (He’s on Zofran for nausea)
He’s tried to walk a couple times but keeps falling down. Poor guy just wants to be able to do things on his own.
Matt and I have been a wreck. We are happy to be home but scared he will stop breathing at any second. I wish I could calm down. My anxiety is taking over big time. Panic attacks are no fun.
Anyways, here’s a pic of us last night. This shows you how happy he is to be home where he belongs.

Update: Brandi shared: Bentley is now in the ICU. He had another seizure and they couldn't bring him out of it at first. They did a cat scan and his tumors are huge! They are taking over his brain. They just put him to sleep and did a procedure where it will release some of the fluid on the brain so he's not in so much pain. The surgeon doesn't think there is much they can do for him. We were supposed to go to St. Judes in two weeks for an mri and start the trial. I just can't believe how sick he got so quick. We are not sure how much longer we will have with him. I am shattered. I'm broken. I will never be the same. Thank you all for the prayers!

We felt we should do something to help ease the burden that is ahead for Matt, Brandi and Brooklyn in the hard journey they have ahead of them  getting their little Bentley better.  The last thing any parent needs to worry about is how will they pay for expenses. So, thank you everyone for any support you are able to give, whether it be praying for complete healing or monetary. We know God is the ultimate healer and trust He is in control! Thank you again!

Here is their story: Bentley, our three year old, was not feeling good for a few weeks, throwing up for really no reason at all. We had him to doctors and the emergency room where many blood tests and xrays were done showing normal results. We just knew something wasn't right, but wasn't sure what to do. It wasn't until he started complaining about his head hurting that a full CT scan was done. We felt like we were loosing our little guy. They found on the 27th of July that he had a mass on his brain and was in surgery the next day from 10am - 8:30pm to remove the mass. The surgery has affected some of his motor skills and he's having trouble with balance and issues with his eyes, but should improve with therapy. The tumor was sent for biopsy confirming it is Ependymoma cancer, stage 3. The only thing we know right now is he will have radiation for 6 1/2 weeks and a spinal tap in 2 weeks to see if it has spread to the spine. We will update as we know more. We greatly appreciate everyone's prayers and kindness. We are so overwhelmed right now and just want our little guy to get better!
