Praying for Jacob

On Tuesday Aug 14, my nephew Jacob Huynh (2.5 years old) was admitted to Children’s Hospital in Los Angeles.  He was having distressed breathing and running a fever.  Within minutes he went into cardiac arrest and was vomiting blood.  Dr. speculate he caught a virus (still unidentified) that went to his heart.   His heart was not functioning properly and began filling his lungs with blood.  He had to be resuscitated twice and lost 4 minutes of oxygen to his brain. While he was in cardiac arrest he also had a stroke. The Dr. did a scan and the left hemisphere of his brain is damaged. Currently, his heart is not beating and requires a machine to pump blood through his body and is on a breathing device as well.  We are not sure what the outcome will be but praying. My brother and his wife are expecting another child and now taking off work to be with Jacob.
