Hello Friends and Family!
Some of you may be aware of what is happening to our dear friend Ashley Long Goforth. Ashley and her family have been friends with our family for 20+ years. For those of you who are not aware of what is happening: Ashley is currently in the hospital with a failing liver and kidneys. She has been there for two weeks and is at the start of her third, with no end date in sight. She is in ICU in critical condition. Her medical insurance will cover some of this, but the percentage it doesn’t cover is increasing rapidly as each day goes by. Ashley is only 27 years old and, as such, all possible measures will be taken to save her life. All of us who love Ashley would really appreciate anything you could contribute, small or large, to support her care and family expenses while she is hospitalized. They are a young couple who don’t own a home and have limited assets. Ashley has also not been able to work since July. Our goal is $10,000- I know it sounds like a lot, but this will only begin to cover what will be owed once this hospital stay is over. Please remember- every little bit helps and will be appreciated by her family more than you know.
