.:.October 2015 Update.:.
We have been in this journey with Kaylee for a few years now. She will be 3 in February 2016.  We moved away from home about a year ago to be close to Cincinnati Children's Hospital. This move was the best possible thing we could do for Kaylee. She is now able to get the medical attention that she needs. It also makes it much easier to get her to appointments for her 15 specialty physicians.  She has been able to get a referral to clinic at the children's hospital that will help her get the type of equipment she needs like a new wheelchair. She has also been to be get services with the Cincinnati association for the blind and visually impaired. While the move has been a positive thing for Kaylee it has been very hard for her dad and I. Our monthly expenses have increased tremendously. I am not able to work because I am Kaylees primary caregiver. We haven't been able to get nursing staff in the home so there is little time for me to get out of the house. Her daddy,Scott, was able to get a better paying job a few months but unfortunately we were already so behind it hasn't made a huge difference. We struggle to keep the power and other utilities turned on. Unfortunately insurance isn't able to pay for all of thebthinfs Kaylees needs on a daily basis to be able to thrive at home so we pay for a lot of her needs out of pocket. We hate asking for financial help but at this point we are just drowing. Scott works very hard and takes all the over Tim's he can get to make sure we are taken care of.  We just came seem to get ahead. We are so thankful for all the help we have received since having Kaylee. We desperately want to pay it forward and help others in similar situations and hopefully someday this page will help us do that. But for now we need to make sure Kaylees needs are met. Any help that you can give us is greatly appreciated. We understand that money is tight for everyone. As always we appreciate your prayers and love just as much as any money donations. We love you all and so glad we've had such an amazing support system. <3
.:. Update .:.

As Kaylee continues to grow it is getting harder and harder to get her in and out of the car with all of her medical equipment. It is very stressful on her little body to get her in and out of her car seat and in and out of her wheelchair. Not to mention the strain on our backs. We are saving every penny we can in hopes of being able to purchase a van. Kaylee would greatly benefit from a van modified to cater to handicapped needs. It would be much less stress on her to be able to load her in the car without taking her out of her wheelchair. Any donations made will go to the purchase of a van or the cost for modifcations to the van. As always if you are not able to donate you prayers are just as much appreciated. God Bless and thank you for taking the time to read Kaylee's story and showin your love and support for our family.

Kaylee was born on Feb. 19 2013. She was born prematurely with a long list of diagnosis including Hydrocephalus, Epilepsy, Scoliosis, Chromosome 6 deletion. She is trached and is vent dependent. She also has a feeding tube for nutrition. Kaylee has spend the majority of her life in the hospital and has never spent more than 16 days in a row at home. Her parents live 3 1/2 hours away from the hospital that Kaylee attends. This page was created to help raise funds for her parents travel and living expenses. Kaylee's parents have decided that the best thing for Kaylee is to live closer to a hospital that is able to care for her and because she has spent so much time in Cincinnati Children's Hospital they have made the decision to move to Erlanger Ky. Their house will be about 25 minutes from Cincinnati Children's Hospital. Their move date is set for August 30th 2014. The family needs help with moving expenses. If you are able to donate, large or small, it is appreciated more than you could ever know. God bless.
