Prayers for Tyler

Dear Family & Friends,
As many of you may already know, Tyler has been in and out of the hospital the past several months with a serious undiagnosed medical condition. On 4 instances she developed a brain infection called Meningitis. Meningitis is an acute inflammation of the protective membranes covering the brain and spinal cord. Meningitis can be life-threatening because of the inflammation's proximity to the brain and spinal cord; therefore, the condition is classified as a medical emergency. During this last episode, Tyler suffered from brain swelling or Encephalitis. This has caused some reduction in motor skills. Luckily, Tyler is now being treated at the National Institute of Health. We are hopeful that NIH will be able to diagnose whatever has been causing these issues.
Until then, Tyler is unable to work. Medical bills are piling up and her mother has exhausted her leave at work. It is imperative that at this point in time Tyler and her family focus on Tyler's well being instead of on the financial stress of this situation. With this in mind, I ask all of my friends and family to make a donation and help release the financial pain and burden the Grigsby's are currently enduring. Tyler is a vibrant 23 year old University of Maryland graduate working towards achieving her goal of attending law school. Fiercely loyal and independent (and pretty fierce in general), she has been active on the cheer leading scene since high school, first wearing Northwood High School's black and burgundy then taking on Salisbury University's burgundy and gold. Avid live tweeter (and spoiler) of all your favorite shows and collector of all 17 "Bring it On" movies, she is as privy to pop culture references as she is to the cases she pores over 5 days a week under Shawn D. Bartley and Associates. In addition to being a stern but loving older sister for her two younger siblings, she is also a great and attentive friend who regularly preaches in Boy Meets World quotes like it's gospel. Despite the promise in her future and the accomplishments of her past, her greatest achievement to date is being tweeted by Danielle Fishel and Ben Savage of the Boy Meets World Cast. Both bright and feisty, she is rarely seen without something pink, animal printed or a messy bun.
