Prayers & Support for Price family

Tommy & Evelyn left for vacation on Sunday 11/5/17. Evelyn was sick the entire time and was taken to ER on Wed 11/8/17. She was having serious issues with shortness of breath. On Thursday morning, her shortness of breath was worsening and they were unable to help her. Dr. Swafford told Tommy she was fixing to stop breathing and he had to intubIate her and put her on a ventilator in order to try to save her. Tommy agreed with the treatment and then called Kim to give her the news. Evelyn was in 100% heart failure and had a horrible case of pneumonia. The doctor immediately started her on antibiotics, but antibiotics had to be changed due to Evelyn having 2 different strands of bacteria. Evelyn had improved some and was taking off of the ventilator and her intubation tubes were removed.
She was off of the ventilator for approximately 36 hrs before they had to re-intubate her and play e her back on the ventilator. Today, Evelyn coded twice, but by the grace of God she is still here. She has a poor prognosis, but had had some improvement today. We are so hopeful that she will make a full recovery, but only time will tell.

Hospital is $200 copay per day, so $2600 so far they say that is above what ins will pay. Hotel bill is right at $1600. Not counting gas and food!

Kim has taken $1000 from her  checking account to help her parents with expenses. 

Tommy & Evelyn have been there 2 weeks yesterday and there is no telling how much longer they will be there!
