PRAYERS FOR JOHN HATLEY❤

Donation protected
Hey, my name is Kellie Hatley. I must say I have been truly blessed with the best dad a girl could ask for! My dad is John Hatley. One of the smartest, wise, hard working man I know. In my eyes no one on this earth compares to him! This is totally out of my element to ask for help but I'm not asking help for me but for my dad. All my life anytime I needed anything I could always count on my parents. Their love and support has been endless!
I know everyone in life goes through hard times. God promises this to us. I also believe that through His love He brings certain people in our life to help us get through those times.
Not many know, but my dad has been sick for quite some time now and he is only getting worse. After undergoing a knee replacement in Oct 2016, his health has gone down hill. My dad has worked very hard his life to be blessed with his own company that he has ran solo since 1990. John Hatley Company. He was a very skilled builder, painter, awning installer, and the list goes on.....My dad has been out of  work since July/August of 2017. This has put quite a strain on him and my mother. ( He probably would not like the fact I'm doing this) He takes much pride in taking care of his family. To sum it up...we still have no definite answers to exactly what is wrong and why he continues to get sicker and sicker. It all began in April 2017 when he started having neck and back pain resulting in a bulging disc. After many rounds of steroids he wasn't better but maintained. In July 2017 he began having shortness of breath and fatigue. After multiple blood work and doctor visits we thought his B12 was low. So more meds...still no help! He continued to work through it all until Sept 2017 his knee started swelling so bad that the orthopedic specialist would draw blood for weeks to find his inflammation levels kept continue to rise. Still no answer! He had many appointments and test ran, stress test, EKG, CT, MRI and the list goes on. I feel he has seen almost every specialist there is! He was diagnosed with COPD, and then told he had infection in his knee. Plan was to take the replacement out but instead with a 2nd opinion he had knee reconstructive surgery and had to stay in the hospital for 7 days then come home with a IV that my mom had to do for him for 7 weeks like clockwork. In the meantime, he is still sick not getting better but worse. He has been complaining since this all began with not feeling right when he would eat but it just got looked over as reflux. Well finally he just recently had 2 procedures including a endoscopy. He has had trouble eating for months and recently can barely keep any food or water down which has caused him to drop 40lbs. Come to find out all this has been caused by a autoimmune disease that has attacked his esophagus to the point where the muscle no longer functions properly. That being said...he can't eat and barely has the energy to do simple daily tasks and all we can do is just wait before another specialist can see him and hope we can find some answers and help him with all this suffering. My mom has been his rock through this and is by his side praying and hoping for answers. They average at least 2 doctor visits per week, medical bills are starting to pile up, 1000s in out of pocket co pays and prescriptions and not being able to bring in a income is starting to become a burden. It's hard enough to watch someone you love so much suffer and I know it's out of my hands to heal him. I just want to take as much off of them as I can and help pay their medical expenses and just regular cost of living expenses  until things start to slow down. If you can't donate I totally understand but I please ask that you pray for my family during this difficult time. Pray for his healing and for the specialist to know how to help him.
I know God will get us through this! Thank you and hopefully I can help take some of the load off of them!
