Prayers for Jack

Some of you may by now that little Jack is fighting for his life after undergoing a seven hour brain surgery at SickKids hospital. Last Sunday Jack was showing symptoms that concerned his parents, Emily and Nate Sumner. They took him to a hospital close to their home town where they did some tests and sent Jack home. The next day Jack experienced more concerning symptoms so his parents brought him to SickKids hospital. During the early hours of Wednesday May 17th, Jack had a MRI done which indicated a fast growing mass with lesions on his spine. This news was devastating for Emily and Nate. The doctors planned to do surgery on Jack's brain which took seven long hours.
Jack is currently out of surgery and in the ICU. The doctor's feedback is that they were successful in removing most of the tumour except for a small amount attached to the brain stem. The doctor stated that radiation will most likely be a post recovery next step as he suspects this is an aggressive tumour. It will be weeks before Jack recovers. The family will find out the pathology results next week.
For those of you who know the Sumner's, Emily, Nate, Jack and Liv, you know that they are a beautiful, happy, loving and genuine family who have the love of God in their hearts. Jack is an extremely smart, funny, sensitive, and caring little six year old boy who loves God and his family more than you know. On behalf of the family, please pray against cancer, pray against infection or complications and pray that God will return Jack to his normal brain function. May God guide all of the medical staff at SickKids hospital.
Emily and Nate are staying at the Ronald McDonald house but Nate has to take time off work and there's a long journey ahead with a lot of expenses. Any help to ease the financial burden and stress at this most difficult time would be very appreciated.
"Because he loves me," says the Lord, "I will rescue him;
