Prayers for William "Billy" Mattern

Bear you on the breath of dawn,
Make you to shine like the sun,
And hold you in the palm of his hand.
My heart goes out to William, Jennifer, Keegan and Caitlyn Mattern,
as they mourn the unexpected and tragic loss of their son/brother,
William "Billy" Mattern.
Billy was a 14 year old, happy, intelligent, quiet, yet funny, big hearted and admirable friend and classmate of the Brother Martin Class of 2022. While I didn't know him personally, I've learned through my son and witnessed through the tears and pain of students, faculty, staff and parents in our Brother Martin Family how much he touched the lives of so many in his short time there and will be mourned and missed tremendously.
While I can't even begin to imagine the pain that his dear family is facing right now, I do know the struggles that they will be faced with in the days, weeks, months and years to come.
Knowing the outpouring of love, support and offerings of help in anyway possible that I have gotten from the Class of 2022 alone, I feel impelled to offer others, whom are wanting to help out in some way,
the opportunity to help relieve some of the financial burden that this family is facing with the funeral and burial, on top of the uncertainty of when they will be healed mentally and physically enough to return to their jobs.
Please feel free to join me in helping raise this family up from their darkness and despair, helping them find peace and comfort in knowing that there are so many of us that care.
