The 7th and 8th Grades from Traughber JHS have been invited to perform at the 2020 Prairie State MS Band Festival on April 3. http://www.prairiestatefestival.org/
This is the first time a 7th grade band has been invited to the event!
The Prairie State Band Festival has been designed from the ground up to be an outstanding performance experience and an exemplary learning opportunity for middle school bands and includes a 30-minute performance slot on the stage of Wentz Hall, 30-minute clinic for the winds with a nationally-recognized music educator and a 30-minute clinic for the percussion with a nationally-recognized music educator.
The cost for transportation to the event (4 school buses to Naperville and back to Traughber) has just come back at $1842.00. This is far beyond what we have budgeted for the event.
Any amount of donation will help alleviate this expense. thank you!
