Irish Road Victims Association

Donation protected
Hello my name is Emma Kate . I am a leaving cert student in county Tipperary. I would like to use my Miss Tipperary journey to raise awareness and funds for the Irish Road Victims Association. The Irish Road Victims Association is a non profit charity that provides help and support for those bereaved or injured in road traffic collisions on Irish roads. Many of the members of IRVA have lost loved ones or been a injured victim in road collisions. They also campaign for change and justice for those left behind after a loved one has been lost in a road collision . Unfortunately so far this year there has been 54 lives lost on Irish roads . Last year (2019) Tipperary was among one of three counties with the highest number of fatalities on Irish roads. Unfortunately those figures aren’t just statistics, they were real people with families and friends. I’m glad I can help a charity that I fully believe in . Together we can make a difference. ‘We are here for those who aren’t ‘

* figures taken from RSA.ie and were updated 26th of April 2020*
