Puerto Rico DIRECT DELIVERY

As most of you know, Puerto Rico, the island where I grew up and the home to my entire immediate and extended family, as well as many lifelong  friends, has been devestated by Hurricane Maria.  

I used to use the words disaster, destroyed and catastrophe, frivolously and their true meaning didn't apply to my everyday life.  Now when I use them to try to describe the current situtaion in PR, they still do no justice. 

Thankfully most of my friends and family are "ok" for now but the conditions are still far from ideal with no electricity, gas, water, hospitals, medicine - empty supermarkets and poor communication.  

We have secured a private transportation service to bring supplies to the island and they will go directly into peoples hands.  In order to make it a successful mission, we need your help.  Any amount you give will be put towards the much needed basics that are severely lacking. 

We are purchasing things like small generators (1K), water filtering systems (400) emergency meal kits (150),  satelite phones (600) C&D batteries, water rationing dispensers, solar panel chargers, battery powered fans and lamps and bug spray (inexpensive) but they need lots of them.
